Costabella hotel complex

On the Adriatic coast near the city of Rijeka in the area called Costabella, a luxury hotel complex has been built for almost two years, which wanted to offer its future hotel guests several swimming pools of different sizes and focus. For all pools, stainless steel was chosen as a surface treatment, which perfectly captures the modern and above-standard concept of the entire hotel.

The largest pool in both size and volume is the swimming pool outdoor and is located in the middle of a hotel complex with panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea. There is an infinity groove that gives the impression of a never-ending pool seamlessly linked to the sea level. This pool is divided into two parts- firstly a relaxation area with water and air attractions and secondly a children's section with a lower water level, attractions and slides in a whale and dinosaur design.   

Other pools are already located inside the hotel and their equipment is focused on various activities. In the relaxation pool you will find plenty of attractions suitable for relaxing tired bodies such as massage air benches and loungers, water foot massages, water spouts and bottom beads. The children's pool is located near the relaxing one, it is multi-level for children of different ages to enjoy water fun and is full of various water splashing attractions. Another indoor pool is a whirlpool, which is situated in the wellness zone and provides mainly peace, rest and relaxation. In the wellness zone, we have also built two cooling pools, which guests can use after visiting the new saunas and water steams.

We designed the pool water treatment system as follows. Both cooling pools have flow circuits for water treatment. Each of the other four pools has its own recirculating water treatment circuit. Clean and hygienically safe water is taken care of by bottom nozzles that bring treated water to the pool, buffer tanks, circulation pumps, filters with multi-layer filter filling and, last but not least, medium-pressure UV lamps and automatic dosing stations for pool chemicals.

For all these stainless-steel pools and their pool attractions, G-TEAM INOX SERVIS s.r.o. supplied and installed pool technology and piping, including related wiring and measurement and regulation. The above-mentioned company INOX SERVIS s.r.o. performed for BERNDORF BÄDERBAU s.r.o. on the basis of a relevant contract for work.
